Although Rosie loves living in Los Angeles, she admits to experiencing homesickness in her adopted hometown.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she talked about struggling with staying close to her family, expressing her desire to spend Sundays with her brother watching The X Factor, being there for her sister, and shopping with her mother. Despite not being able to do that often, she feels grateful for having the opportunity to be back home once a month. Rosie and her partner are based in Los Angeles but during her visits to the UK she likes to surround herself with Brits and Europeans to avoid sounding too American. She mentioned this in an interview on Radio 1’s Breakfast Show with host Nick Grimshaw and said that living with a Brit helps to maintain her British accent.
