Jason Statham expresses disappointment over Sylvester Stallone’s minimal contribution to Expendables 4

According to Jason Statham, it didn’t quite feel right that Sylvester Stallone had a minor part in the movie ‘Expendables’. In this latest installment of the action-packed franchise, Stallone’s character Barney Ross only has a small role. Statham felt that his absence was strongly felt on set.

He stated that the story involves them having to navigate through the ocean without ‘Rocky’ due to reasons that were not discussed. The absence of ‘Rocky’ feels strange, but they are doing their best to tell the story. Nonetheless, the best days on set are when ‘Rocky’ is present. Jason acknowledges the significance of ‘Rocky’ in the franchise and emphasizes that the movies would not have been possible without him. After the new film, Jason is set to become the lead star in the franchise.
