Following her successful collaboration with the brand in 2018, the 50-year-old actress and singer expressed excitement for the new project, sharing that she enjoys portraying different characters for each campaign. For this season, the vibe was a mix of iconic Italian film stars from the 60s, Madonna from the 80s, and Sophia Loren, resulting in a fun and glamorous photoshoot.
The mother-of-two expressed her delight in embodying the character and bringing it to life during the shoot. She also noted that the clothing and setting used in the campaign complemented each other perfectly, resulting in a successful project.
Lopez has been chosen as the global ambassador for GUESS and Marciano for their Spring 2020 advertising campaign. The creative direction of the campaign has been overseen by Paul Marciano, who holds the position of Chief Creative Officer at GUESS?, Inc.

The photo shoot for the campaign was done in Santa Monica, California, by photographer Tatiana Gerusova. Guess claimed that the colorful and monochromatic pictures depict a timeless Hollywood way of living. Lopez posed with the picturesque palm trees and beaches of California as her backdrop.
In 2018, she sported a chic ensemble consisting of a white blouse, check shorts, and white pumps during her campaign. She also showcased some gorgeous spring dresses. Some of the other notable models for Guess include Claudia Schiffer, Anna Nicole Smith, Paris Hilton, and Drew Barrymore.
