Hollywood movie enthusiasts may have thought that the Oscars had arrived early to town due to the massive influx of A-list celebrities who graced the red carpet for the premiere of Brad Pitt’s latest movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Among the famous personalities present were Jennifer Lopez, Cate Blanchett, Eva Longoria, Tilda Swinton, Angelina Jolie, and, of course, the lead actor himself.
The much-awaited event became a showdown of the fabulous red carpet moms as three new mothers, namely J.Lo, Angelina and Cate, flaunted their post-pregnancy figures for the cameras.
Jennifer Lopez flaunted her gorgeous curves in a stunning cream gown while taking a break from parenting her 10-month-old twins. The dress had a plunging neckline that showcased her cleavage, along with a flowing train that added to its allure. To complete her look, she carried a bejeweled clutch and wore a woolly shawl. Jennifer stole the spotlight from other celebrities at the event, including Angelina Jolie, who also recently gave birth to twins. Her enviable figure and attention-grabbing outfit made her stand out from the crowd.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are notoriously busy parents, made an appearance on the red carpet in matching all-black outfits. Angelina wore a loose-fitting strapless gown by Versace and paired it with earrings from the Ralph Lauren Vintage Collection. While she had opted for more colorful outfits during her pregnancy with twins Knox and Vivienne, she has since returned to her signature style of low-key black. Despite looking pale, she seemed happy as she supported Brad, her partner of four years, who looked dapper in a Tom Ford tuxedo.
Daring to be different, Cate Blanchett opted for a striking Alexander McQueen dress with a bell shape, while Eva Longoria went for a sleek satin piece from Karen Millen. Despite being the star of the film, Cate’s outfit received mixed reviews, with some seeing it as a fashion mistake due to its gold color, flesh underdress, and peep-toe heels. Along with her acting accolades, Cate is also a proud mother of three sons, with her youngest being born in April. During interviews on the red carpet, she commended her co-star Brad Pitt for his humanitarian efforts, stating that she believes he is a great human being with a unique perspective on the world.
Angelina Jolie stuck to her signature style for the red carpet event and donned a black dress by Versace. Following her lead, Julia Ormond and Emma Roberts opted for black strapless and lacy dresses respectively. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett’s co-star Julia Ormond also sported a similar style of gown to Angelina with her strapless black dress. Sharon Stone made an entrance in a female tuxedo, accompanied by a mystery man, and Eva Longoria arrived solo without husband Tony Parker. The Desperate Housewives actress chose a blue satin Karen Millen dress worth £157, paired with t-bar shoes and a black clutch. Fans of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button can anticipate its release in the UK in February.
The evening sky was adorned with stars as Tilda Swinton donned a subtle chiffon outfit, while Sharon Stone opted for a classic black tuxedo to accompany an unidentified gentleman.
