The rapper, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, took a break from performing to focus on his acting skills. Alongside co-stars Jason Statham and Josh Hartnett, who play armed truck drivers, Post was captured in a thrilling shootout scene. The trio will be starring in Guy Ritchie’s latest film, which promises to be action-packed.

Oops! Looks like Jason Statham is joining the cast of the film as well. In a photo shared, he can be seen playing an armed truck driver during a heated fight scene involving Post Malone. Upon initial inspection, it seemed that Post Malone was portraying one of the villains attempting to rob the truck. His outfit included a black beanie, a black and white button-up shirt, jeans, and black gloves, all while wielding a gun.
Avoiding: While filming, the artist behind the hit song “Better Now” was seen dodging and trying to stay out of harm’s way.
Uh-oh! While sprinting away, he looked back to check if he had enough time to reach a secure location.
Having a great time: Post was all smiles while indulging in a delicious French breakfast outdoors while dressed in his costume for the day. He completely immersed himself in his role and was captured fully engrossed in his character, moving and swaying with great enthusiasm. There was a moment when he took cover behind a construction palette as the truck drivers tried to fight back. During breaks, Post enjoyed spending time with his fellow cast members, relaxing with a cup of coffee and a cigarette.
Casual: Jason decided to take a stroll in his driver uniform and ditched the bulletproof vest. It looked like he wasn’t afraid at all as he confidently held his gun. On set, he rocked an all-black outfit with a bulletproof vest and an eagle patch on one sleeve of his button-up. Josh had a similar look but wore a short-sleeved version for his time in front of the camera.
Josh Hartnett was spotted taking a leisurely stroll with a crew member, enjoying a break from filming the action-packed movie Cash Truck. As reported by Variety in November, MGM secured a substantial deal for the film during the American Film Market. Alongside Hartnett, the cast includes notable actors such as Scott Eastwood, Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, and Laz Alonso. This movie is actually a remake of the popular French flick Le Convoyeur, which was originally led by the likes of Jean Dujardin and Albert Dupontel.
